Photography

My introduction to serious Photography was after I was made in charge of the Photography hobby club at the Assam Valley School. Well those were the film days and being a Chemistry teacher I was expected to teach the students how to develop the photographs and print them (in the dark room those days). Soon I started enjoying SLR photography and Mr. Paul Carling the Headmaster bought a second-hand Practica SLR camera for me from London ( to suit my budget). Thus started my interest in photography. Camera in hand, I began to see the world differently. At Delhi Public School Surat I teach interested students and teachers Photography and the DPS Photography Club initiated by me has been a great success getting more and more students and teachers hooked on to photography every year and changing the way they look at the world around them. Please visit the DPS Photography club blog  www.dpsphotoclub.net  to know more about the work of my students and teachers at the Club.
